Mechanical Avali

This wonderful model is rigged with digitigrade legs, folding feathers, functional hydraulic cylinders, and more mesh details than can quickly be described. The provided example uses dynamic bones and a Poiyomi Toon shader that tries to strike an interesting look. The performance rating is good in VRChat.

Requirements for full functionality:

The unityproject provided requires the Dynamic Bones package and Poiyomi Toon shader to be used as is. Poiyomi 8 has a material avaliable, but it is not required.

Notes:

The scripting tab in blender contains a script to export the textures into the export folder. This export folder will be wiped every time that script is ran. This is not necessary for the version 002 and greater as they use substance painter.

The feather and piston constraints do not work right in the Unity editor outside of play mode. They work fine in game.

Versions:

001: Initial release

002: Now includes substance painter file, and new hue shift toggle. A Poiyomi 8.0 material is now included with audio linked hue shifting that the toon shader does not support.

There were also minor mesh edits to make substance painter able to operate. They should have negligible effect on the polygon count.

Each purchases of this product provides one single user license to the assets.

• Make public on a platform such as VRChat provided that the credit marker is not modified or removed in any way.
